Butterflies in Stomach

Stage fear, video shooting, speech, assemblies, job interview, presentations, these words remind us of all those atrocious moments we all have experienced at once. We all are totally bewildered and nervous in front of the audience. This is the moment of truth, yes we do have butterflies flying in our stomach which makes us feel that we are in a fix. The question is how to overcome this fear? No worries, let's build up our level of confidence till the highest.

We all are into the world of FEAR, and that’s not only about you but also about me. We often try and think to impress others and don’t focus on the main point that we have to capture. In nervousness we can't just control our pace of speaking, it's as if we are catching a train. We have to dare to come out from the inside world. Fear is natural, we have to overcome it and give a strong response. To speak out loud with confidence and courage, let me share some incredible tips which can help us speak with confidence.

  1. Practice! Practice! Practice!- We have many words to express our character, but sometimes we do not use appropriate words and articulation. Instead of learning the whole speech, remember the keywords on the topic you have to speak. Let's say you have a very important meeting with your client, prepare on the key points on which you have to focus. The best way to present your speech is in a story form. This will help the audience connect with your presentation and understand the essence. It takes a while to create the perfect story line. Practice regularly so that you do better next time.

  1. Ask questions- After you are done with all the presentational work, check your progress by asking questions to yourself. It will help you revise all your points thoroughly. As you go on revising think about what type of questions they will ask. Put yourself in the audience's shoe. If you can answer those questions confidently, then you are ready for any question they will ask. Truly answer the next 3 questions to yourself. If you have 3 ticks ahead those question then you are on.

  • Are you satisfied with yourself?

  • Have you worked on your weaknesses?

  • Are you ready to go?

  1. Learn from your mistakes- Everyone makes mistakes but you can't just hold on with those mistakes. You have to leave those mistakes behind and keep learning from them. From the inner you, bring out the thought of positivity. Never sadden up from of the negative feedback as those will show you the right path. Give out all what you have in you. Make upgrades and cross the correct path. There is always an opportunity to improve, don't miss that opportunity, go ahead and finish your task with pleasure and honor. Feel proud of what you have accomplished. Push yourself and you will surely reach out to your goals.

  2. Enthusiasm- when you have that confidence to work hard go for it in a joyful way. Enthusiasm shows the eagerness and passion in you. Enthusiasm is the electricity of life and it means enjoying something with your full heart. Do not take stress of anything. More the stress less the enthusiasm. Enjoy each and every bit of your work. Your performance will show how much you enjoy. Love what you do!
"Enjoying work is essential. If your work becomes an expression of your own ideas, you will surely enjoy it"

If you strive hard for yourself, you will feel the greatest satisfaction in your lifetime. There should be consistency in your hard work. Its never about one day its about all the days till your achievement. That effort will pay off to you. All The Best!

That’s all for today. Hope you enjoyed reading and learning something new today.
